Initial Intake Meeting and Paperwork The Diocese of Dallas has established the criteria for determining that both parties are free to enter marriage. This is primarily accomplished by the completion of paperwork, which will be done at your first scheduled appointment.
The couple contacts Holy Cross indicating an interest in marrying in the Church.
A Pastoral Ministry Associate will contact you to schedule the initial appointment to complete your pre-nuptial paperwork. When you are called to schedule your appointment, they will also discuss marriage preparation and wedding ceremony fees with you, which are due at the initial intake meeting.
Attend the intake meeting, complete required paperwork, and pay the required fees. We are unable to confirm a wedding date until the couple is determined "free to marry" and all fees are paid.
Receive instructions on obtaining required documents and completing the marriage preparation steps.
At this point you MAY be able to move on to the Marriage Preparation stage, including the opportunity to select a preferred wedding date at Holy Cross.
Payment of Required Fees At the initial meeting you will be asked to pay fees in full. Amount Due:
Fees range based on the day and time of the wedding ceremony. Our Pastoral Ministry Associate will discuss this with you.
The total fee will include the FOCCUS Inventory and Formation Fee, several meetings with a Sponsor Couple, Church Usage Fee, Wedding Coordinator, Rehearsal, and Gratitude for the Officiant.
Our Pastoral Ministry Associates can provide you with a list of Church Musicians and their contact information. The couple will be informed by the musicians of their availability and fee. You may select other musicians if you wish; however, no adjustments may be made to our sound system, nor can any external amps, mics, speakers, etc. be connected to our system.
